our mission

Started as the Girl Scout Gold Award of Autumn Aldrich, project GOALd is a project with the purpose of teaching goal setting and planning through use of the bullet journal system [bullet journaling is a planning method in which you create your own planner out of a blank notebook: this way, it can be customized to perfectly fit your life's needs].

locally

Locally, project GOALd worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Harbor City to put together bullet journaling workshops for middle school students. By the end of the course, the students were able to gain a new way to plan out their goals using the bullet journals they created during the course. Even if the system didn't work for a specific person, as long as a better understanding of goal setting was achieved, the goal of this project is met.

globally

Following the completion of the in-person workshops, project GOALd will continue to teach bullet journaling through the video lessons in the lesson portfolio. With these, we hope that this planning system can continue to be learnt by those around the world who strive to bring their goals to life.

about autumn aldrich

hi there! I'm Autumn Aldrich, a SoCal Girl Scout and the founder and creator of project GOALd. After discovering bullet journaling in 2018, I have since then been fascinated with the system and its endless possibilities

Over these past few years, I've spent a lot of time refining my own bullet journal system, and researching ways to optimize it for my life. In doing this, I was able to gain a better idea of how it could be taught to others, without it seeming overwhelming.

Using this project, I am hoping to guide those who want to learn bullet journaling in the right direction, so that they can get the most out of the system.
